OgrCubb

The first tournament of this series took place in 2017 under the subtitle Championship. Already in the second year, the event ventured beyond the borders of Prague. At the time, it was an attempt to find Blood Bowl fans outside the capital as well. However, the expedition to Moravia ended with the participation of only a single player from Brno, who never showed up at any other tournament again, so the series returned to being held in Prague.

The original idea was to gradually turn the event into the first major Czech Blood Bowl tournament, which could one day serve as the Czech Nationals.

For the last four years, the tournament has been known under its current name, OgrCubb. It joined forces with the oldest domestic wargaming store – Ogre’s Lair – and the series thus gained not only a new home, but also a new name.

From 2027 onwards, the numbering will return to referencing the very beginnings of the series, and there may even be another name change. Some things, however, will remain the same: the traditional date at the turn of October and November, a two-day format if there are enough participants, and above all a unique ruleset that is adjusted, improved, and refined every year.
